is it just me or the women in this city don't seem to really care whether their guy fds are single or not they would still keep trying? obviously, those guy fds are caucasian males..

It's certainly not a usual situation, most of the local girls do not like attached guys.

Your post is a little bit all over the place and doesn't make a lot of sense or actually ask a specific question about a specific issue. Do you care to elaborate a little?

I mean, something like that what you are going through? Or are you just depressed at seeing single women throw themselves at taken guys "in general" as in a "state of the nation, whats the world coming to" feeling?

I dunno about you, but there are a lot of taken guys in HK who dont seem to think that is a hindrance to their wild rampage through the pastures of hong kong, lol! Of course, a humble moments silence should be had for those that do care and are in fact capable of spelling the word "fidelity". oh well...ces't la vie...

you're right, i should have elaborated.
im american chinese. there's this friend of my bf who calls occasionally on the weekend to 'see if he is out', i am not really cool with that, the only time she would call is after midnight, she rang a few times when we were in bed..i told her, please send messages next time. no difference. i told my bf if she is really your friend, she should leave u alone a bit on the weekends and show a little respect. im just bitter. i know he's not cheating, i just don't understand these girls..don't they feel embarrassed at all to wake their fds up in the middle of the night?

Now this is different! And welcome to HK. I am afraid that this is not someone hitting on your boyfriend as such - after midnight calls here are the norm! My wifes friends often used to call after midnight as do some of my Chinese friends and western friends who've gotten used to the whole situation and just adjust to do it themselves!

Getting somewhere after midnight and calling to see who's out is a completely different kettle of fish to someone chasing after your guy. We've all walked into a bar at some point and called friends to see where they are or if they are about!

indeed...nothing like the drunken "eeeehhh, are ya out?" calls! Lol. Yeah, maybe ask your bf to tell his mates that any calls after 10pm are "Your grandma just fell down a flight of stairs and needs immediate hip surgery and a glass eye!" calls!

i hate to admit that but those 2 actually had a little history..altho we are talking about 3 years ago, but still!! i try to view this as 'simply bad eduation' rather than 'suspicion of cheating'. either way, i just want to tell her off!! but i do feel better after reading evil's reply.

Lol there's a little button on the mobile that switches it off.Have you ever heard of that little friend?

.....and the long snake thing called a landline cord plug can be removed from the wall soooooo you can have peace and quiet and a sleep in the next day.

Try it.Some people just don't get the hint.Your bf having history with that annoying wench makes no difference to someone disturbing your evening.

agree, them having "a history" is absolutely no excuse for what is obviously bad manners, well...the "dont call after 10" rule is right up there next to the "dont shag your best friends' ex" rule...isnt it?

where does she come from? it's that a lot of people here lack manners full stop. and they can come from anywhere too. and yes after 10pm rule should always apply, but some people don't get it and i bet i know where they come from. also he must be leading her on in some way for her to do that.
