does anyone know of a reputable divorce lawyer who doesn't cost a bomb? thanks.

If your divorce is pretty straightforward and will be uncontested:

They are in about the 5K range, last I checked...I ended up with a complicated one so I even used mediation (which costs a bomb but is worth it) and I went with another lawyer, good guys, cost me 10K as a retainer and they havent really billed me since...

Well if its an uncontested one where no kids are involved...it should be a walk in the park. If not...keep your antacids handy! lol. Good Luck!

Divorce is stressful, trust me on this. How bad it is...well, thats totally subjective. I think it has the potential to bring out the worst in people! It brings out even worse in people who dont know themselves enough and end up listening to money grabbin lawyers.
