I am in need of a new visa. My de facto partner and i have been together for 6 years and wonder if i can get a visa from her? It is a gay relationship..any one help? am getting desperate as to find a way to stay.
Thanksxxxx
Unfortunately not. The dependant visa only applies to married couples (as well as kids under 18 and parents over 60). Add in the homophobic stance of the government here and don't expect things to change anytime in the foreseeable future. You only chance is to find work and get yourself a work visa if you are able to.
We would require much more detailed information to provide a reasoned view; we would be pleased to attend to your needs on your matter.
We would suggest you contact our office to arrange an initial meeting with our Mr. Weir and our fee charge for an initial meeting is HK$2,500.

As stated if you are not married you will not be able to obtain a dependant visa. The only other way around it is to obtain a work visa, maintain that for seven years than apply for residency. This is for free too!
