my husband found out that our 14 yrs old girl has a
BF.and same day he went to the school and dropped her out.my girl now stayed home since jan.
what should i do? What is the punishment if they
found out? Do i need to report to the police?
help pls.

do you mean your daughter had sex with her BF ? Under the HK law. It is illegal to have sex with a girl under the age of 16. You need to report to the police only if your girl had sex with her BF.

Are you asking about the legality of your daughter and her boyfriend, or the legality of keeping her home from school? I think that it's illegal to keep your daughter home from school at that age. What on earth is she doing all day if she's not at school?

If you want resonable advice you need to be a bit clearer with your post. If your husband withdrew your daughter from school on the basis that she had a BF at the school (of course, no sex) then that's a bit of an over-reaction in my view. You cannot closet your daughter behind locked doors for ever - apart from the legalities involved she needs an education, and that education will also help her cope with her future relationships. You should be thinking about getting her back into another school soon - and sit down and discuss your concerns with her. As parents you have a right to be concerned about your daughter, but golly gosh I don't think she's the first girl ever to have had a BF at school.

yes,my husband wiithdrew our daughter from school since january.and my husband is a muslim so not allowed for the girls to have BF.

1. In HK, it is illegal for your daughter not to attend school to the age of 15. Parents can be fined, HK$10,000 and three months' imprisonment. The school should have reported her absence to the authorities.

2. There are all girls' schools in HK.
